Steam Boiler generate a large water content boilers used to provide customers with steam as a heat transfer media. Generally the quality of a steam provided by these boilers are much higher than forced circulation steam generators. The higher quality of a steam reduces risk the use of steam seperators or steam accumulators.
About steam boilers, there are two types of large water content boilers which is that water tubes and fire tubes. water tubes are designed with water inside the tubes of the boiler and gases surround the tubes. As the water temperature increases steam begins to develop a travel to the upper portion of the boiler, generally it is called as steam drum. The cooler water circulate through the down comers to the mud drum, where the water will reheated. Fire tube boilers are designed with gases circulating through numerous tubes immersed in water.The hot gases heatup the tubes and to heat the water and to generating the steam. Generally fire tube boilers cannot produce steam at very high pressure.
